WKK Electrical Services has smoothly integrated modern electrical services supporting state- of-the-art distillery equipment, while preserving the historical integrity of the Thompson Dock Pumphouse. Original electrical fixtures and cable looms from the early 1900s were preserved and showcased and salvaged light fittings were re-purposed alongside advanced new lighting.

WKK’s skilled electricians used surface-mounted conduits and existing channels to minimise impact on the historical structure. Detailed planning was conducted in collaboration with conservation officers to ensure all modifications adhered to preservation guidelines and regulatory requirements.

A modern electrical system was designed to meet current standards and enhance operational efficiency, comprising new switchboards, energy-efficient solutions such as LED lighting and BMS controls, and fire, security and audio-visual systems.
